no. that's a quality issue that should be left up to the consumer. - rk911Explorer

Some people have the opportunity to make better choices than others. And elites routinely evade responsibility for bad choices. As do those who use corporations to evade personal responsibility.
it ain't just the so-called 'elites' who, in your opinion, evade responsibility. that affliction is common to all persons in all income levels. wha! wha! wha! - Cummins12V98Explorer III

YUP just add FAIR TRADE instead of free trade.
Good idea,,
now who determines what is Fair
Example
US farmers receive 20 bilion in subsidies from the Gov.
Canadian farmers get 0$
Is that fair competition?

Stats are stats:
Americans in their 20s: $16,000
Americans in their 30s: $45,000
Americans in their 40s: $63,000
Americans in their 50s: $117,000
Americans in their 60s: $172,000
I don't care what you did or are doing these numbers represent America and they suck add to it the game of tariffs and other economic nightmares and younger types are pretty much screwed as a whole.
Younger types? I don't see that. what I do see is younger people, not all, with the "I want it and I want it now and must have the latest and greatest gadget and expensive vehicles and homes they can't afford." Little regard for savings and the future and a paycheck or two away from disaster. Heck, I see people using EBT, CHIP and other government programs with Apple IPhones. The budget deficit and government debt is unsustainable as is personal debt for millions of our citizens.
You seem like a person that immediately judges others not knowing the "what and why" A lot of folks have things before they lose a job and need assistance. Secondly the "I want it and I want it now " generation are our kids..kids. So bottom line reap what you sow. - FlatBrokeExplorer III chose to receive my SS early because you never know the future. On a personal note, I think I provide more "wealth" to the US by providing a quality recreation experience than I would if I converted my park to a factory that built plastic bobblehead toys to be sold in a Dollar Store. Surely a doctor contributes more to the wealth of this nation than he would if he was relegated to hand painting cheap plastic Christmas ornaments. To imply that anyone who is not directly involved in manufacturing is somehow no valuable to the economy is mistaken.
No need to put words in my mouth. Dismissing those that actually produce wealth has caused this nation to become so deeply in debt that it may never recover. Bobbleheads and Christmas ornaments, huh, get a clue. - free_radicalExplorer
