tires

Replacing my Westlakes soon on my fiver.  Looking at Sailun or Blackhawk.  Blackhawks are made by Sailun.  Not much difference in price but my tire dealer has the Blackhawks in stock.

Wanted to go back with Westlake but my dealer will have to special order them.

Anyone running Blackhawks on a heavy fiver out there?

I presume you mean tire shop as getting tires at a camper dealer is not cost effective.
Sailing have a great reputation so far. You don’t say what size but I’m guessing 16s since I’m not certain Sailun makes smaller lighter trailer tires.
Id never use other off brands like what you’re considering. But if you have 16s or larger you can get any of a dozen or more quality truck tires.
And unless you’re after spending more $, order what you want from wherever and take them with you to any ole tire shop for mount and balance.

Yea I mean tire dealer.  The tire dealer has a great shop and has good prices.  A lot of fellows around here are running Blackhawks on their food trailers which some of them are heavy but not like my fiver. The G rated Westlakes have been great too with around 20k on them.

I will probably go with Sailuns as a few bucks don't mean much when you have a breakdown on the road.  I was just wondering if anyone had heard of the Blackhaws.

Found out that the Blackhawks are made with the same casting platform, quality control and in the same factory with the sailuns.  Not a ton of difference in price but since my tire dealer stocks them it makes sense for me to give them a try.
