To Bomb or not to Bomb?

My rig is in the process of being painted. I was talking to a few of the guys in the shop asking about different things they have seen. They all agree on 1 rig. The ants had made a nest inside one of the side walls. They ended up having tto remove the siding to get to them.

Had the same issue - found the nest in a cabinet under the frige and eliminated it. Ants went away.

ants or bugs and mice and other such critters dont like vibration,and noise.
Id get a vibrating sander,without sandpaper of course,and touch/vibrate the areas where you suspect they are hiding,.

I had a problem with ants at one part of the RV resort that we are camping in this month. There were a number of ants on the patio coming up from the grass on which we parked. We spot-controlled the ones that were climbing on our cooler and other items on the patio, but when I noticed a few near the kitchen sink, I knew I had a problem. We changed sites at the resort and started searching for more. Found the main group in the pantry. We removed the food and made the proper precautions, then set off one of these fumigators before we left for home for a few days. Upon our return, there was no issue.

I also used Ortho Home Defense on the stabilizer jacks, wheels, power cable, water hose, tongue jack foot, and every other point of contact with the ground.

Terro works on Carpenter Ants, It cured a problem I got in Tenn. once in my Sunline Camper. It got then all took about a week.

I have only seen them in dry wood. I read something to that effect as well.

Not a joke - although looking at the U of Texas site, they are brown rather than black.
However - they are VERY, very destructive - and invasive.
Do lots of damage to electrical equipment and are chemical resistant !!
