Toilet clogging up

We have a brand new Coachman Chapperal and from camping trip one the toilet will easily clog from someone pooping in it. Even if no paper is flushed it will clog. Before I take it back 70 miles to the dealer to look at it I was hoping for some ideas. Could this be a vent issue? Maybe jetting some water down the vent stack to see if something is clogging it? Thanks for any help.

  • Uhh... eat more fiber?

But seriously, X2 on what the previous poster said. You didn't really describe "how" it was clogging - and I'm not sure I want to know.

But if things "just don't drop down the hole". Then prefilling the bowl with water helps.

Vent issues usually result in the upwards rush of air when flushing previously described as "burping".
  • If it's not burping it's probably not a vent issue. Second guess would be not enough water in the bowl when flushing.
