clogged toilet

No tips on clog other than prevention.....we have always put tp in small trash can next to toilet or head ..... so far no trouble....good luck getting it flushing....with kids no telling what kind of toy might be down there or cell phone

Toilet paper? Anything marked 'septic safe', don't waste your money on the RV Toilet Paper.

Did you try a Backflush Adapter?

Reach down and pull it out. You probably don't want that wad in your tank, anyway.

Used RV Digest-it when we had a clog. Waited 24 hours then dumped and the clog was clear. Have used it since and no problems. Best solution is lots of water when in use.

How long have you had the RV? If new it could be leftovers from when they cut the hole in the Tank for the drain. If old use the auger (hand crank instead of drill) and go slow. It should not get stuck because you can always reverse the direction and pull it out.
What kind of paper have you been using? Do you flush with plenty of water after using the toilet? Do you wait until it is plenty full before dumping?
Not being noisy but the answers might help someone (possibly you) figure out where the clog is.

Are you saying the toilet won't even flush? That's some clog!
I'm fortunate to be able to dump at home. For thorough cleaning after a trip I use both the tank rinser and a wand down the toilet.

Get an old garden hose, fish it down, turn it on slightly and move it around. This should break up the poo pyramid you likely have in the tank.

Are you sure the tank is not full?

Not sure where your clog is. Is it between the toilet and the black tank or is the discharge pipe clogged, ie, you pull the dump handle and nothing comes out?
