Toilet clogging up

Sorry for lack of info. It does not drop straight down into the tank. The drain line has a elbow making a 45 degree turn then runs about a foot and half before dropping into the tank. I am getting a burping like gulp when flushing.

I know of at least one instance where the pipe down into the tank wasn't cut short enough; as liquid built up in the tank, solids could not free-fall into the tank. You should be able to see this condition if your connection is straight down.

Your chems and using good TP that breaks down dissolve the TP so when mixed with the sewage you are not going to see sheets of TP flowing thru the pipe.

If you think the paper is sticking from the bowl and pipe up there, you need to FILL the tank up as far as you can with water. Just putting a couple of gallons in isn't going to get the water 'up there'.

Start filling the tank with water and hold down toilet flapper and shine a light down there and fill the water till you see it come to the top THEN dump. Hopefully that will wash away any sticking up there. Good luck!

Water, Water, Water...you can never have enough water in the black tank. At home you have a tank that uses a couple of gallons of water to flush...most people use very little water and they end up with more poop than water. There should be 2/3 water and 1/3 waste when you empty the tank...the force of all that water trying to get out of the tank creates a suction that draws out most of the waste...then it's a rinse to get the rest out...after flushing, add about 5 gallons of water with chemical for next filling

And what is the Boraxo for?

Not enough water before or after flushing...

A good tip is to partially fill the bowl before someone decides to #2...

Ours drops straight down when flushed but some rigs are plumbed differently. Can you be more specific about what exactly is happening. Even with a restricted vent as long as toilet flapper is held wide open stool will still drop unless there is some kind of obstruction. Run a toilet snake down the hole and see if it reaches your black tank.

I don't get where the clog is. Is it the toilet valve, the toilet, or the black tank?

The only time I've had a clog in the toilet itself was when someone used enough TP that is filled up the hollow part. This was remedied by a yardstick used as a ramrod.

It can't hurt to fill the bowl before #2 so any solids are escorted by at least a half a gallon of water down the chute.

x2 what do you mean by "clogging" The STUFF drops straight down into the holding tank. Are you filling the tank and then not having it empty or do you have the dump valve open all the time and expect it to flow down the hose. Or you could have the slug they made when drilling the hole for the drain and vent inside the tank and clogging the drain. I think we need more information.
