I tried doing a search on these but didn't find anything. We are looking at a used toy hauler with Tow Kings on them. I thought I had read in the past that these were poor quality Chinese tires. The tires looked to be in good shape, however, if there is a quality issue, I would look to replace them immediately.

Look for a 4-digit date code in an oval on the tires. It will be MMYY if they are made after 2000. Anything close to 5 years is high time for replacement.

Check the manufacture date on the side of the tires. They could be older than you think.I've never heard of Tow King tires. I have heard of Trailer King tires but, I don't know anything about them or their quality.

I would replace the tires any way. I am a belt and suspenders type of guy. You have no idea how many curbs rocks and stump those tire were scrubbed against, what speed and pressure they were run at and for how long.Price of tires may be cheap as compared to the amount of damage a violent blow out would do.

Are you sure they are Tow King? I have had Power King Towmax tires on my boat for years and the name sounds too close.

Also look at the load range of those tires and upgrade higher if you can.
