Tow vehicle for 5th wheel camper
just inherited a 5th wheel camper. What I'm wondering is, am I'm ok with my 01 Silverado 1500 4x4 with the Z71 suspension and 5.3 with auto trans. The trailer is about 30 feet long and has dual axles.

That's probably right. A 1500 series truck runs out of cargo capacity quickly and a 5er, even the 'half ton towable' versions, easily exceed the GVWR and GCWR of your truck.
