Problem, not that many mechanical pumps out there any more, just some of the old truckstops and mom and pops.
Even if there was an issue interfacing mechanical pumps to the POS system a customer should never be charged more than what the receipt stated! The merchant needs to eat the difference or make the adjustment before charging the customer.
