So, called Blue Ox and they said get the 750's. S
Seemed to think it was almost kind of a dumb question, even. Went kinda like - you weighed your TW at 690? Get 750's then. I brought up the possibility of loading more weight in the trailer and possibly going over 750 TW at some point and the answer was pretty straightforward - if you really think you'll get that heavy, get the 1K's. They said from their experience, they really doubt I'm going to end up that heavy though, if the trailer was already fully loaded for a trip when I weighed it at 690, which, it was.
And thinking about it, I doubt I'm ever going to be loading that much more weight in the TT.
They said not to consider weight in the bed of the truck at all. So I didn't.
Anyway, talking to the Mfg changed my mind. Experience has taught me that while there are definitely exceptions you need to look out for, for the most part, listening to the Mfg's advice is a good idea. And I tend to over think things and make them more complicated than they need to be, so I placed the order for 750's.
Ordered a Honda 2000 generator too.
My wallet hurts...
