We ran into that camping at Flagstaff AZ. Not so bad if you are near a railroad and an occasional train comes thru but this being the major EAST-WEST railroad and there was a train about every seven minutes all night long haha...
We moved the next day alittle farther out of town on 89...

Roy Ken,
I bet I know what the campground you're referring to in Flagstaff is. Is it called: "Black Barts RV"?
I don't hate trains, in fact, I've always had a liking for them in many ways but, I DON'T WANT TO LISTEN TO THEM EVERY 1/2 HOUR WHILE TRYING TO SLEEP AFTER 8-10 HOURS OF DRIVING!!! Plus, that campground has a freeway just on the other side of it too. So, there was double the noise in there. If you like that sort of stuff, then by all means, jump in there and have a ball. We prefer nicer, quieter ones. So, the next day we moved down towards Williams and found a very, very nice and quiet National Forest one.
