Vent fans and a/c at the same time

At home we find it unnecessary in summer to run the het pumps on the own stairs level usually. We have a huge vaulted ceilign on one side and the cold a/c air sinks down, and sometimes makes it really chilly on the lowest level.
In our RVs with both heat pumps/ac running it still some times is warmer than we want.
Has anyone used one or two of their roof vent fans to pull the warmer air, that rises out of the RV found any success with that approach.
The cold a/c air sinks to the floor of course.

leave the vents off and let the A/C work as it is designed to do. If it was a good idea it would be in your owners manual.

  • I would only run the vent fan for cooling along with the roof A/C if the interior temp was considerably warmer than the outside temp. Such as when first arriving to a heat soaked RV. Otherwise just let the A/C do its thing.
  • Seems like a simple enough experiment that takes about 10 minutes to try...

Yeah, but on such a subjective "experiment" it's pretty much a given that the experimenter will get the results he desires to get.
