Walmart full?

Put out a cone, extend the slide into traffic lane...camping!

  • I'm not offended by your post. You weren't specific as to wether the picture was before or after the turn around. In either case, the parking of the 5er is of questionable wisdom. Nothing I posted is anything that would suggest thay I am off my meds. Better check yours.

Rickeoni. Clever removal of your "Check your meds" comment.

No, people would be DRIVING into the slide. Turning it around would result in people WALKING into the slide. In either case, call 911 or mind your own business. Your call!!

Read what he said, it was parked the other way, with slide over the sidewalk.

Because he assumed that it was turned it around "because people were keeping him awake walking into the slides". In other words, people walked into the slides BEFORE he turned it around, to slides over the sidewalk.

I only posted it up because I thought it was humorous.
    Sorry if I offended you.
Are you the one in the fifth wheel?

EDIT. The OP isn't specific as to wether the picture is BEFORE or AFTER the turn around.
  • I suspect a friendly cop came by and suggested the change. much safer that way.

    Really?
  • Not only is it illegal, it is also beyond common sense. Now if someone needed to extend their slide in an emergency, someone could stand out there with the cone or a flag and wave traffic aside for the few minutes one would extend a slide. If it is to be out for a length of time, then it should move to another location for the work to be completed.

If the slide is extended for the reason the OP is stating, then it is illegal for a couple of reasons, too wide for a vehicle for which is registered for operating on a roadway and without proper marking and reflectors for the widest portion of a vehicle (like the indicators on the extended fenders on a dually or trailer.

But, if the trailer is on a dead end street or where traffic is not moving freely, then many departments would give a waive for something like this.

  • When I got to work this morning (6:30) he was parked the opposite way with the slide extended over the side-walk. I am guessing that he turned it around because the crashing of people walking into his slide was keeping him awake.
  • What a thought full owner. not many people would go to that much trouble to given ample warning.
