water heater. presser

Can get tank to fill but no pressure coming out at any faucet
Any ideas
When I by pass water heater plenty of pressure at all the faucets

    Are you getting pressurized water coming out the pressure vent valve on the outside of the water heater? This would indicate that you are getting pressure into the tank, and that the "out" line is plugged or a valve is shut.

    When testing, make sure the water heater isn't on, to avoid getting burned.
  • Might be the check valve on the hot side of the water heater.
  • Is the heater tank full? if it were full it should not affect the cold side.
