Well I'll be dipped!
I just found out that if somebody quotes another somebody that you've blocked the quote shows up anyway. Then you get to read the garbage anyway.

Unless I did it wrong, I tried this once with a poster I found virulently offensive. But it blocked the whole thread the offending poster contributed to. Gave it up as a bad idea, just started ignoring the pestiferous poster and life has moved on. :)
