I was in Anaheim on a Disneyland vacation last Friday when the storm hit. We live on the West coast of BC where it rains A LOT, but we were shocked how hard it rained in California! We were on our way out for dinner and it was raining so hard that we could not see even with the wipers on high. There was flooding everywhere and pieces of palm trees flying through the air from the wind. We ended up turning back and going back to our hotel because it just wasn't wise to be out in those conditions. As much as the rain is very good for the area, it was too much too quickly.
