GW surely can be happening as it's a normal and many times over natural occurrence on Planet Earth. Just like repeated ice ages. Where we are in the reoccurring cycles dictates what is and will happen. Humans are on this planet and WILL simply endure the ride just like all the animals, insects, and sea life will and have been during their total time of existence.
The Planet Earth just keeps on changing, climate/air/land/sea with time whether any human or other being likes it or not! Some people do not seem to understand what natural land, sea, and air changes have occurred in the billions of years to change our planet's climates and features. The seas have risen and fallen, volcanos have added so much surface land, ice ages have covered so much repeatedly with tich to even 2 miles thick ice glaciers and then melted repleentishing and raising the sea levels on the entire planet. Some land sinks and some rises such as where we live that is still rebounding and recoiling from the thick ice age glaciers the melted 10,000 years ago where we live. Used to be under seal level and now is over 580' above seal level and no volcanos are within even 1000 miles of the entire region to have had anything to do with it. Vey deep soil columns taken tells the real facts and it's in hand proven facts the tell the real story not speculation or theological science speculation forecasts paid for. I will pay you to tell and/or report in writing to me what I want to hear, is alive and very well!
The hot extremely humid wet subtropical Earth's surface then became covered with vast very thick ice glaciers and guess why or what then cansed them to melt again and just where doyou think the hot before the ice went or the cold from the ice went? OHH, BTW, the air's content of CO2, CO, and Methane also changed too. Must have been MAN's fault of course but he wasn't even here or to any remote affect and certainly did not cause any pollution. Wait, must have been caused by all those pre-historic animals and birds. Yup that's it, it's all their fault with their huge poop piles and dumb breathing! Should have choked them all!
Man gas always been blamed for everything that happens good or bad so what's new??? Sensible and reasonable pollution control is a good thing but being anal about it with no real proof of its killing the planet rather than just being a normal Planet Earth's cycle is pure stupidity and nothing more than counter-productive! THE SKY IS FALLING! NOT!
Follow the money!!! Suckers! - ramgunnerExplorerFACT - The planet goes through natural heating and cooling cycles.
FACT - The star our planet orbits has both short-period (11 year) cycles and long-period cycles.
FACT - When I was in elementary school, we were promised that it was established science that the planet was cooling and we were going to have another ice age unless people stopped polluting and populating.
FACT - Today, we are promised that it is established science that the planet is warming and will overheat unless people stop polluting and populating.
FACT - There are legitimate scientists that do not believe in the conclusions that have been reached by others relating to the impact that man has on these natural cycles.

Typical CNN fake news. The land has been sinking for decades and losing it is blamed on rising sea levels and GW? Makes for good headlines but has nothing to do with GW. - FizzExplorer

Gentile breeze...? Now you are bringing religion into this thread...?:B - paulcardozaExplorer1. I do believe the planet's temp is increasing

A big mystery to me is this: Are GW deniers not accepting that the planet's average temperatures are increasing, or ... do they agree that the planet's average temperatures are increasing but not accepting that human activity has anything to do with it?
I guess the first position means that we don't need to do anything different going forward, and the second position means that we need to change many aspects of how we live going forward (IMHO including future population control). - garyhauptExplorerMeet some folks who do believe in climate change...they are living it. - travelnutzExplorer IIDon't know about all you other posters but we had lots of cheese spread and cheese slices, smoked beef sausage slices, with our crackers and lots of beer and wine at our RV party for 5 of our RV friends staying here in the CG. Great time sitting around the big wood fire we had going in the 4 ft square fire pit the whole evening. must have burned half a cord! A little smokey but the gentile breeze kept blowing the smoke away so that was good. Then I grilled 12 approx 1 lb thick beef boneless ribeyes to medium rare and they were so delicious+. Yup, had great salad too with Parmesan and Romano cheese and real bacon covering the top. Then the butter pecan ice cream with hot fudge on it for dessert. Back to all being around the fire until just after 10 pm with more beer and wine. Ran my non DPF non DEF diesel truck engine idling for nearly 2 hours today because I just love hearing it idling.
See, I did my part today to limit the methane and CO2 emissions going into the air today, how about you?
BTW, be another party on Friday evening too and is usually larger on the weekends. Probably going to need to have another cord of wood delivered before Friday. Sure don't want to run out!
