Why is it that rude people accuse civil people of intolerance? We are plenty civil enough. It's only when civility fails to make an impression on the rude people that further action is needed. Then, all of a sudden, the rude people are all up in arms, "what did I do?" I'm just enjoying myself", etc...
I finally had my last straw a couple weeks ago at a restaurant when a young couple came in with their infant son. The girl/mother proceeded to change the brat's diaper right on the table and in full view of the the other diners, myself included.
