I have no doubt that such behavior exists, and identifying causes may be right on the money, but it won't make it go away. I just have never run into it. Maybe its because I'm a solo traveler instead of a family camper. I stay in KOAs almost exclusively, even though I don't use all the bells and whistles. Seems like the operators are also the owners. They either run a tight ship or their prices don't draw a lot of families with kids or weekend partiers. At any rate, I'm gone during the day and inside at night. Sometimes I'll drink my morning coffee outside if there's a picnic table, but then I'm on the road in my toad to see things in the area.
As far as what's happened to manners and respect, that's been going on since Adam took a bite out of the apple. I was taught to stay out of other people's yards, but I took a shortcut when I was out of sight. Bet a lot of you did too. You either don't remember or you choose not to. Face it. You've turned into your parents. :)
