What has happend to manners and respectful of others

Just a general observation - different things annoy different ppl. But to the manners and respect for others -- I think I am getting old. Very few ppl have respect for others these days. I see more and more of an "it's all about me" attitude. And a lot of kids aren't being taught manners or respect.

If I had done half the things I see some kids doing these days, I wouldn't have lived to tell the tale -- or would've been picking my behind up out of the dirt at the very least.

And I am not saying all -- you just can't lump everyone into one category, no matter what you are talking about. There are still some good people out there, and raising their kids to respect others and have manners.

Let me save you some time. Here are the responses:
