What is the best BBQ grill

We use a Baby Q and it works well for the two of us. The only downside is that you can't turn it down low enough to slow cook and as with all single burner grills, you can't indirect cook.

Weber makes a good grill. I have two full size Webers , One is 23 years old and still going strong with the original burners, although I have replaced the crossover tube and grills.

Buy the length of propane hose you want with ends if possible i added mine. You will need one male quick connect with 1/4" make threads for BBQ along with a 1/8 male x 1/4 female fitting to screw directly into BBQ where regulator has been removed.

Pretty straight forward project. Another option take a copy of this pic to your local hardware/farm supply they can fix you up.

Thanks. I use a sidekick grill so I already have the propane line to connect to a quick connect on a grill and the RV so just need the parts you mentioned to convert the Weber. Appreciate the help.

I just went through the same trying to decide. I went with a Jacksons Versa 75. Was a little more expensive then the Weber Q but the 10 year warranty and limited lifetime ultimately sold me! Have a Weber smoker and gasser at home with nothing bad to say about their product.

Very well built, marine grade. All Stainless steal except the igniter button and the rolling grates make cleaning a breeze. Very happy with it!

How many times have we all been assigned a campsite & found the picnic tabletop damaged by a grill? It is blackened, warped, even actually burned because people don't think or plain old don't care.

Doesn't take much to carry a block of something to put that tabletop grill on to take the direct heat from the bottom.

I do like my Magma marine kettle. Does not take up table space. Clamps on any table seat. Can use a fitting for it in the basement slide out tray if no table is available. Fits into an holder which goes into the receiver hitch if I want. All stainless steel.

While i agree with those of you that use charcoal for a better taste it's just not something i want to hassle with. I am thinking i'm going with the webber Q1200 that i started out looking at. Going out tomorrow to look.

This is accurate. The whole reason I bought my Kamado is I can go all day (or more) on a load of lump and hardwood at 225-250 for BBQ, or I can kick it up to 700+ direct and perfectly sear a steak. But it isn't travel friendly.

You can't do a long slow cook in a little Weber but you can at least do a good indirect cook with some wood added in for smoke, which can work great for, say, a butterflied chicken. Plus just regular grilling. Much superior to propane as long as you use lump or natural briquettes.
