Lake in the Sierras for a week for some water skiing and fishing with a big group.
Another lake in the southern Sierras in August to do some sailing and fishing for a week with friends.
Thinking about another trip to Big Sur in the fall, but will have to see how hard it is to get to our favorite spot in April. May not be worth the drive, but it is so beautiful it makes up for it! - wbwoodExplorerNot summer, but the week of Easter, we will be heading to florida. 2 nights at Manatee Springs State Park, 4 nights at Grayton Beach state Park, followed up with 3 nights at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park.

As many semi-local SC, GA, NC spots I can the rest of the year! - pnicholsExplorer IIFor starters in May or early June .... drycamping at a trophy trout lake in Northern California in a fully shaded campsite just a few feet from a sandy shore where your boat is beached close to your campsite for convenience each morning to use for the fishing.
Later in the summer roughly planning to wander in the RV from fly fishing with relatives in Colorado to visiting relatives out in the woods in Ohio.
In betweeen maybe making some short rockhounding RV trips in the West. - seaeagle2ExplorerEastern Oregon for the Eclipse, we got a reservation in November at a park just outside the totality zone, but its got full hookups so we'll have a/c :)
