A description in the forum list describes what should be posted in each one. This one says "This forum addresses all things RV -- news and notes, comments and concerns are all welcome here. " That covers a lot of ground.
I will occasionally move RV park and route questions to those forums because there are posters who go there specifically for those questions. I personally do not just look at what's new. Instead I regularly visit several forums I'm interested in.
I also learned the hard way not to move anything from truck campers because apparently they don't want to associate with the rest of us.
Your gripe goes along with a few others like
"do a search" (give it up, everyone is lazy)
"I need your opinion" (I already did something stupid but I need something to prove I'm right so I can show it to my DW, DH or the judge)
"use a trucker's atlas" (the standard reply to "What GPS do you use?")
"they're/there/their all the same" (reply to what RSA service to get)
