Not so much with Cummins vs Cummings but when people don't even know which way to spell break (or brake), or similar things, it detracts from their post. Not as bad as people who write run on sentences with no pronunciation.

For what it's worth, 06Fargo, I care. When did poor grammar, spelling, and punctuation become a virtue in America?
Have to agree with you. However, I don't lose sleep over it. What's more troubling to me is this: is it a product of a lazy generation or a poor educational system? But we also must look at ourselves? How many on here use "prolly" instead of "probably"? But I digress. I don't own a Cummins, I can spell "Ford", "GMC", "Chevrolet", etc., but let's get on to something VERY important. What's the correct pronunciation of "Porsche"? :B
x3 Not that I lose alot of sleep over misspelling, but it can be somewhat irritating. I've gone back and corrected posts I've made with misspellings, because I don't like it when it happens to me.

Which is kinda fun to watch, to tell the truth.
The only thing that gets their "goat" (pun) more than that is if you call their new Ram a DODGE!. Back when the trucks said "Dodge" on the tailgate, they wore it like a badge of honor. Now it's just RAM, and if you mention Dodge it's like you insulted their mother. So, I sometimes say Dodge/Cummings just to see the reaction.
My personal and totally unscientific opinion is that the same people that say "Cummings" also say "Walmarts" and "Targets" like that's their names.
Pay attention! :R

According to historians, it was shortly after 1776 when some folks decided that English was a high falootin' language that discriminated on po' folks who weren't highly edjumikated.
A colour became a color, your neighbour bacame a neighbor and flavour lost its flavor.
With the advent of the 'smart' phone UR neighbor became even easier to reach when you needed to 'axe' them 'wat R U doin 2 nite?' - coolbreeze01ExplorerEver since Cummins sold Ford, people thought ford an gm actually knew something about diesels.

Four pages of this STUPID topic is further evidence that this forum has lost all validity. Let's keep the discussion on a more useful level, such as which tires to choose. I haven't seen a new tire thread pop up in the last hour, so its about time to have another one.
You just made it one post longer!!!!
