Sorry, I wasn't aware that TT managed Forest Service Campgrounds, I know there are others, but never heard of them doing it.
As stated on the sign, it is a Forest Service Campground, under the management of Thousand Trails Management Services.
Yes, we have them running a couple parks on power service company lakes in the San Antonio area.
It isn't a highly publicized branch of the company, but they do bid on some management contracts across the country.
The Work-Camper community is where I first heard of the company doing that type of business. - 2012ColemanExplorer IIThis is somewhat funny...
Right? - VeebyesExplorer IIThere is a SP in MD that we use quite often. We see day use people in the camping section frequently. There are 2 loops. Both more or less identical sitewise except one is power, no water at site, & the other is dry.
Which loop do the day use people prefer? Why it is the power loop of course. Not that any of them are using the power.
This SP also has an excellent day use area. The problem is, people are too lazy to walk the few steps needed to a picnic table - bukhrnExplorer III

I've been here years and a laugh was what I was going for...I'm in the wrong for posting something that was not funny?.. now that's not funny. I will try to do better. My parrot Mickey is asking me: "What are you doing?"

I'm easily amused as obviously are you. My feathers aren't ruffled (neither is my parrot's) and no cats are allowed this way anymore. Keep marching to your own funny bone as it serves well.
Ok... sorry for ruffling feathers and petting the cat fur backwards. It was just a misspelled sign... nothing more. In this day of spell check don't you think someone would check it? I posted this in the fun section and it got moved here to blow up into a rant. Now this has become not fun... your right...this post is NOT FUNY! I give up.
Is this place stuffy? Heckenspeck, yesss but it teaches me a new way of writing socially.
Nothing wrong with the dawg learning anew. - KKELLER14KExplorer IIOk... sorry for ruffling feathers and petting the cat fur backwards. It was just a misspelled sign... nothing more. - bukhrnExplorer IIII don't worry about spelling, as long as I can get the meaning, but what confuses me is the Top of the sign, is this a Forest Service Campground, or a Thousand Trails campground ? :h
