WiFi Monitors for interior of camper

Yes I already posted this under Pets about two weeks ago, but apparently no one reads that category. I'm looking to see what people use to monitor their pets while away to Dinner or shopping? I've heard about a camera called Guardzilla, but have not had good luck with this brand in the past. What's in your camper? Happy?

  • When we went to NJ at Liberty Harbor I left my phone in the camper and connected my WiFi camera to it. I was able to watch the dog and look at the thermometer from
My wife’s phone. Worked great. But you have to have good cell service.
  • We don't leave our dog alone very often either and when we do it's only for a couple of house. We do not monitor when gone. She isn't a barker and in 8 yrs have never had anyone say they heard her bark (her breed is a quiet breed). As far a temperatures. It won't change much from what it was when we left within a couple hour period but we always leave either the furnace or a/c on set at a comfortable temperature.
  • On only a couple occasions have we EVER left our dogs in the camper. When we do, we call each other on our cell phones and get a channel open. Then we leave one phone in the camper and take the other with us.

This way, we can really hear how distressed the dogs get and how much they really bark.

We discovered they don't bark (much), but occasionally. And we discovered they are pretty calm when we are gone.

We've only done this twice, in maybe 20 years of camping. But if we ever have to leave them alone in the camper again, this is what we'll do ... again.

If something were to happen and we needed the phone with us to make a call, the open line to the trailer can either go on hold, or it can be hung up from the one with us, freeing up to make a call if needed.
