Woodalls...Taken over by Goodsam???

We do not have a Smart Phone so we rely on the HARD copy to find campgrounds. With each time we buy a new book, we go through the book and pull out pages that we would never use. That helps lighten the weight of the book.

We would not be without the hard copy! As we travel, about 1:00 we start looking for possible RV parks to stay for the night. We prefer Good Sam parks because we have found them to be of better quality.

Hi Hal - the gray circle with checkmark by a listing indicates the park has their own display advertisement. The page number for ad follows at the end of the listing.

I just got my new RV Travel Guide. Have used this book for many years.
Question: what is the gray circle with a check mark in it for?
Could not find explanation in the book.

ETyson, please keep in mind that there are a LOT of people who do not have a Smart Phone, do not want one, and do not intend to ever get one!
My cell phone is a telephone, PERIOD! All it does is make and receive telephone calls.
Perhaps I will buy a new Directory this coming year. The one I have is quite old, so it is probably time...
If I do, it will be a hard-copy book, not an "APP". "APPS" have no applicability to me.

I just ordered the new book for $17.00 including shipping as we are planning an extended trip next summer. I like using the book.

Glad to help! Using the app and online tools when you're on the go, on the road and you can't use the printed directory, will really help with your travel and route planning too.

they did that a long time ago and they are just getting caught up with the paper work.

A change in ownership would not be needed for GS to take over Woodalls.
Affinity group (At least a few years ago) owned both, plus Camping World, this forum and several campgrounds.

This is why you can get to this page via several portals, Good Sams, Woodalls, RV.NET (the one I use) and more.
