Work Kamping in Tent

Anything can be done. At a campground we frequent, there was an older couple living in a tent all summer. Not for us.

How tight is the budget. You can probably find an old small travel trailer or popup for a grand or two. It will be in rough shape but probably a lot more comfortable than a tent for a few months.

I don't see why a camp host could be a tent camper. I've seen camp hosts with all kinds of rigs, from mamouth motor homes to pop-ups. Why not a tent? I think the above advise is good. If nothing else, purchase a used pop-up, at least you won't be sleeping on the ground and dealing with wet ground if it rains.

The US Forest Service has several dry campgrounds in the west which would be great for tent campers. Most are volunteer, but American Land And Leisure and RRM both have paid positions where tent campers are welcomed.ALL

The Workampers organization would be a great spot to begin your search and questions.

I have experoence living in a tent for 2 years, I have air beds, and small rugs, and anything else I may need to equip my home life. At this time, I am saving money for the gas, and therefor cannot afford a popup, having to move within 2 weeks, doesnt give much time to get enough for that, so this is faster, and better, and I really dont mind a tent. I know how to make it home. maybe someone can donate a popup?I only make $400. month & my disabled child gets $700. we have car payments & insurance plus 2 dogs...so as you see we just cant do the most simplist thing.

tenting is fine, we have the accomodations from living in florida weather for 2 years, and I am on a tight budget. we dont have one or 2 grand.
