2000' Onan 4000 Microquite generator replacement

Has anyone replaced their old generator with something newer? Mine bit the dust and while researching, I've been seeing a lot of issues with this model. I don't want to spend the money fixing this one...

Can I have your generator that bit the dust? I can't imagine it'd cost anything even close to what a new one costs to fix it.
