2019 29HFS NO battery power

Just took delivery of my 2019 29hfs toyhauler. I found that I have no 12 volt power inside no matter which way the battery switch is facing. I have 12 volts going into both sets of breakers. Seems as though that’s where it stops. Anyone have input on this? I know it’s under warranty but the closet dealer is over an hour away and 2 weeks out for repairs. Thanks in advance

  • 12 volts is FUSES. 120 is Breakers. There is an inline reset-able fuse close to the battery. There are 2 30/40 amp revers-polarity fuses on the converter. battery disconnect must be ON.
  • I have seen self resetting breaker near the battery... but just one.

What happens when you plug into utility power?

Otherwise if you are talking about the main 12v fuses in the 12v distribution panel... these are often called reverse polarity fuses. As in the battery will open these fuses when connected in reverse. Check your battery connection. Usually white is negative-ground-neutral. Black is usually positive-hot. Fairly common to get these reversed.

Exactly. the 12 volt system will be one shot ANL fuses, the 120 volt system will be thermal breakers.

You have them mixed up and most ANL fuse panels will have an LED telltale that glow when the fuse is open.

Is that 12 a typo for 120? Do you have 120 but no 12? Do you have a battery at all? If so, and no 12, then check for reversed polarity at the battery and the reverse polarity fuses at the converter.

A just-installed new battery by dealer could have its wires reversed.

I would say you have diagnosed it

"I have 12 volts going to both sets of breakers but it seems that's where it stops"

    Breakers are tripped or bad.

NOTE some breakers uses in Some RV's are "Strange" that is they have two "Set" modes one sends power one way. the other a different way. This I do not understand (A button and a lever) setting one trips the other
