Your question made my day. Been a sore point since Xylophone Tonkatoy purchased Trace*. You need to set the length of time spent at 14.8 as well.
Take a look at the MEGAWATT manual charger and set the voltage to 14.8. Use an INTERMATIC 4-hour spring wound timer to adjust time. The Mega WILL equalize at 16.2 volts but at not more than 20 amps max. Get the 36 amp model. I use multiple 36 amp Megawatts rather than charge incorrectly.
An old old TRACE 2500SB inverter charger is the best battery charging device ever built. good luck finding one.
