Okay, I think this a fabulous thread with a huge amount of really usefull information. Can't say I Fully understand it all but it makes things much clearer. Sadly, I spent most of this work day reading this. Thank goodness my boss is on vacation!
Early on there was a lot of talk about non-square enclosures. Specifically about folding ones. It seems that this was dropped without any completion.
Has anyone actually built one? How did they do it and how much noise reduction did they see?
In my minds eye I see this 8 sided tepee structure made out of a light weight panel. Hinges at the joints that just fold back and stack up for storage.
