Disappointed you experienced the damage with the Lifan. Yes, it is nice when buying from one of the big box stores you have a 90 day sitisfaction guarantee. I think Champion may be a great choice if no problems develop with their new ES/RC units. I have a Champion C46540 that has been through a real stress test for three years. But, new models sometimes have a few bugs. Anyway I'm sure Costco will stand behind the Champion for the first few months. If not, dear ol' Champion I do believe will. We'll expect perhaps, you might be one of the first to report your success.
