I wonder what it is different with the Carrie ACs? I ordered the Supco 6E , I hope I can get it installed and it fixes the problem.
I start my Carrier 13500 Air V all the time , at home on a 15 Amp circuit, even with an additional 80' 12 gauge extension cord. I never turned the converter off and sometimes even had the fridge on electric too. Something seems strange that the Champ will run some ACs for some folks but not for others. I really like or want to like the Champ but I think they were stretching it with their liberal Watt rating. Mines 3500/ 4000 and 2 1500 watt appliances (heater and heat gun) tortures it. But to be fair, I'm in Colorado at 6000' +
