I finished up the loose ends of the "sound shroud" for my genset project.
I settled on a piece of fiberglass electric fence post as a cross-bar to rest the sides/wings of the shroud. If you look at the bottom of the genset in the photo, you can see the gray pole zip-tied to the genset's frame:

(The genset was actually running when I took this pic - you can see that Amelia approves of the sound level!:B)
The fiberglass post has plastic hooks on it intended to secure an electric wire - I used them to Velcro the sides to the post:

I presently have the genset's +12v wiring and the 30A cord to the transfer panel running over the bumper and underneath the FW. I needed to slightly elevate the rear of the shroud to get it off the wiring. I used some doubled-up pipe insulation as "feet" for the rear panel to elevate it and rest it on the bumper:

The ultimate test of everything is coming in less than two weeks ... that's when I'm camping at the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin - the largest aviation event in the world!:C
