Nice job professor!. I have the same crane that is mounted to the tongue of my utility trailer. I just hook the trailer up and use the crane to lift the generator into the bed of the truck. I have too much stuff normally stored in the truck bed to mount it there. On a humorous note, I didn't like the bright orange color either. Mine, too, is painted black.
