FWIW, I found multiple internet references to a "Ben Visser, aviation fuels and lubricants expert with 33 yrs experience at Shell Oil". He says 100LL should be good for a year, auto gas for 6 months, and it's unknown for ethanol/gas, but perhaps 6 months if no moisture is present.
For nearly 20 years, I've routinely stored 100LL in my hangar on my farm airstrip for up to one year with no problems.
And to paraphrase, "I love the smell of 100LL in the morning":B
