Can you see any disadvantage to that. It's a little cheaper but not as neat of a package and I don't know if I need 2 plugs. I have both in the cart while I think about it.
Which ever one you like. The one I cited was only an example.
Keep in mind that whatever you choose will lower the amperage capacity of the L5-30 outlet to what the rating is on the final outlet. In this case it will be 15 amps, not 30. It is all a product of resistance present and heat generation as current rises.
