A Question for the professor.
I have been following this thread for a long while. I was told by an ex Champion Generator tech that by removing the black wire on terminal 1 and attaching with terminal 3 I would be able to get the full wattage at 120 volts on one 120 outlet or 1/2 my 120/240 plug. My question is could I not make up a L14-20P plug and attach the 2 hot lines together into the hot side of a 30 amps 120 volt RV plug and the neutral and groung to the proper contacts. This way I would have less chance of overloading the wiring. Its a Champion C46535 that I have.
