Second, one corner mount of the tank appears to be bent a bit. I don't believe it was shipping or handling related because there are not paint chips and I really don't think its a big deal but i posted a pic anyways.
That tank is seam welded further in where you can see the ripples, not at the edge. I'm sure it's not leaking nor is an issue. Many automotive gas tanks are seam welded the same way.
Where did you get this deal? I too live in Calif and can only buy a CARB approved generator. For $238, I can afford that to play with. Can't find one less than $299 though and they are not Calif approved.
