Good idea! Your model generator is great for home power outage use, contractors needing split 120 volt outlets for two power tools like circular saws or a low amperage appliance needing 240 volts - but it is not well suited for RV'ers wanting a single 30 amp 120 VAC outlet (25 amp supply).
Lots of folks have rewired their units to parallel winding generators, but unless you have experience doing electrical work and fully understand the process it is best leave it "as is" and buy one factory wired for RV use.
If you can afford the extra bucks (or even find one - TSC does not sell it) the 46538 and near identical twin 46512 are absolutely awesome synchronous generators. I love the remote electric start.
