I hate to follow myself, but, this one time I will. Several threads are running on the subject of the GFCI. I had to smile, we learned here what some of the folks who should know better, would have learned right here on '3000W Chinese Gensets Info'. Don't have to have a three prong plug (cap) or grounded earth ground for the GFCI to function as designed. It will detect any imbalance in 2 wire circuit. That was a hard one for me to understand. Got a misconception from the name. Didn't see how it could function in the RV not hooked up to shore power with a real ground. OR with a portable gen with a floating neutral. Lot's to be learned along the way in THIS thread and from the Professor95. Again, just old and slow.
