We spent the weekend out on the water. As we were moving down the river I noticed what appeared to be an old sinking houseboat beached in a cove off the main channel.
I decided to take a closer look.
The tide was out so the cove was extremely shallow. I got as far in as I could without digging our boat's motor into the mud.
That's when I noticed a Champion 3,500 watt generator sitting on the inclined deck of the houseboat. For some reason I just found it funny.
No, I did not salvage the generator. I am sure it will eventually be stolen or rescued by the boat's owner. Since the boat is out of the navigational part of the river, it could stay there forever.
