Dr Baker.. I also am mounting a Champion 3500/4000 on a Lippert pin box. I like your design but it would put the genny right in the middle of my bed fuel tank. My design will attach to the spare holes on each side of the pinbox/frame attachment. The genny will be 11 inches above the king pin plate, this will allow it to clear the bed tank when the trailer/truck are in a full flex (center low).. The genny will be half over the pin box and half extended out to the front. My design has the genny facing the 5er, hot muffler will be away from trailer and the heavy side of genny will be over the pinbox with the light side extending out front.. there will be 6in between genny and trailer wall.
