Hi,
On a hot day 2 summers ago my brother's generator actually melted the field coil on a cheapo Chinese genny. The air flow to it was not restricted in any way.
Mr. Wizard it was a 'no name' knock off.
I am mentioning it now because of the air flow and cooling issues.
