I know it seems I'm focusing on the details rather than giving answers. But I have spent the last 20 years as the final point of escalation for a tech company. I'm still amazed to this day how sometimes a problem bounces around for weeks and finally gets to me and I find that two guys are collaborating on troubleshooting an issue and looking at two different parts diagrams.
In the picture below is the blade 3 and 4 the ones you mentioned in your original post? Pay special attention to numbers as related to the rectangle locator pin at the top as I've seen many pictures with the rectangle at the bottom or numbered clockwise or counterclockwise. (Truck side is the bottom picture)
If your 3 and 4 are different then what numbers in the above diagram correlate to your 3 and 4?

You mentioned it doesn't work when connected to your new truck. Does that mean it worked on your previous truck but now doesn't work on your new truck? If so the problem is going to be on the truck side.
Do you have a 12 volt test light or a multimeter? It's okay if you have a meter and don't know how to use it. Give us the brand and model and we can look it up and walk you through it. I admit I prefer a multimeter. But for this test a simple test light with an actual bulb, not an LED would probably work better.
