I am about to replace my battery with 4 Duracell 6 volt batteries. While I am doing this, I want to add a disconnect switch (so that I can guaranty everything is truly disconnected)
Can someone recommend a good disconnect switch?
Also, can someone tell me what this is hooked to my battery? I am assuming it is some kind of fuse? Also, will I need to replace it with something else, or will it be fine with the added capacity I am adding.

Any other tips, or advice for doing this?
Thats a resettable breaker. Problem is its most likely a 30 amp. So when charging your batts from the converter dont expect to get more then say 40 amps before that trips and resets. Same with high draw items, but usually not an issue.
You must size according to the wire size. I added an 50 amp breaker to mine but increased the wire size. This way I can charge closer to 60 amps when needed.
