Saw that and got curious. The average breakers in a home power panel WILL work as switches, of course. But not designed to serve as switches, and the ones that are made that way, are much more expensive.
So wondered if that lever was for occasional use or OK as a switch.

at Cooper Industries and found many of them listed as "Switchable" or "Switch Feature." I'd focus on those.
Great tip on this! That webpage shows all the Buss-Branded ones, and there are others, but good place to find the part number and start shopping.
Naturally it'll cost more, and how much more I don't know, but I might consider the Marine Rated ones if they're going to be in a compartment with the batteries. Thinking they're better sealed against corrosion.
