I never knew there was anybody recommending not to use AGM batteries for automotive applications. I've been using them on my bikes for 10-15 years. That's what has been specified from when they were new.

And you're posting this whole article on a forum, and we're supposed to believe that you are the one person we can believe. I'm sure that the person who posts a contrary view to yours will post the same warning. And he'll, of course, post that he is an electrical engineer with 20 years experience. Just skip the hyperbole and post your views.
