Motorcycle environment is much cooler than under-hood temperatures. Therefore an irrelevant comparison.
The AGM battery in the wife's bike sits completely enclose by the body, no air flow in any shape or form. Her's is a 2004 and mine is a '99 so builders been recommending AGM batteries for a long time.
